Fifth Annual Round the Moon Trail Run

10km, 20km, 30km, 50km runs and 10 km walk
The Run A beautiful scenic trail in one of Canada's National Parks: Riding Mountain National Park This trail is rough and tough! The trail runs around Moon Lake in a 10 km loop.So far the event has not been stopped by moose or bears but they have certainly been spotted. There are some hills and some flats (alright more hills but some are gentle slopes) The volunteers are fantastic and the setting is beautiful. All the runs start and end at the Cook Shack. Brunch, snacks and lunch are served free to all volunteers and participants.

Registration fees Before August 31: $45 per runner $25 for PHS member $25 for under 16 years
September 1 to 18: $65 per runner $45 per PHS member $45 for under 16 years
Please make cheques payable to Parkland Humane Society.
Free T-shirts will be provided for those the register before September 10, 2010.
Step2: Once you are registered we will send you a Pledge Form. A minimum of $250.00 in raised pledges is required to be eligible for any prizes. Pledges must be dropped off on the Run Day.
Run Day
The Run start times: 50km - 9:00am 30km - 10:00am 20km - 11:00am 10km - 11:30am
The Walk start times: 10km - 10:30am
Check in between 8:00am and 10:00am. Please check in at least one hour before your run begins. Snacks will be available at cookshack from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Start & Finish at the Cook House where washrooms, First Aid and Spectators can also be found. Aid stations will be found about every 3.5km on the trail that are equipped with water, energy drinks, snacks & first aid. Supper will also be provided.
